The Great Gatsby for NES
Play The Great Gatsby for the NES. Become Nick Carraway in Fitzgerald's classic novel. Also good for book reports.
loren bouchard's new show with h. jon benjamin
hopefully this one will be better than Lucy Daughter of the Devil, maybe even on par with Home Movies. But that is hard to do because Home Movies was just so good...

kicked and banned
i just went into one of my favorite black ops servers, on my favorites list for some time now, been playing there for a while. i got 5 or 6 kills with my mp5k without dying once! I was on a roll, about to take out some more bitches... and then i got banned. wtf? WHAT? why??? it's like the bizarro version of rage-quitting.
not my fault you guys suck. don't ruin my experience just because you don't like challenging players on your servers. i'm incredulous. i'm raging and probably should just get over it. whatevs. and the fuckin game isnt showing up in Theater.... wtf
UPDATE: I went back into the server somehow. immediately they started accusing me of using 'auto.' I don't even know wtf that is... Auto aim?

Call of Duty: Black Ops optimized config files
click here to read about or download optimized config files for running Call of Duty: Black Ops on dual-core systems.
NOTE
Some of these config settings have increased fps by up to 70 fps on some machines. However, these configs WILL NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE. Each system is different. Some people get great performance from these .cfgs, others will have better performance with their old config. Try out different versions to see if you get a performance boost.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this config is to increase your fps and make the game somewhat more (perhaps A LOT more) playable than it is in its default state or what can be achieved through the in-game menu. This is an FPS config, it is not designed to run the graphics at the very highest settings. Rather, it is designed to get the most FPS out of low-end hardware OR (in the case of the included 'balanced cfgs') get good performance and balanced graphics with newer hardware. If you wanted super high 16xAA 1920x1080 settings then you probably wouldn't be here looking at this.

Call of Duty: Black Ops GPU & CPU Performance In-depth

Call of Duty: Black Ops GPU & CPU Performance In-depth What Works and What Doesn't? - TechSpot
In this article, TechSpot test the game's PC performance with the new patch applied.
from wikipedia: First figures indicate that at equivalent clock rates, depending on the software, [Intel Core i7 980X] has up to 50% higher performance than the identically clocked quad core Bloomfield Core i7 975. However, consumer software that utilizes 6 real and 6 virtual cores is still quite rare, and not every multithreaded program is able to take advantage of this many cores. Despite having 50% more transistors, the CPU strongly benefits from the 32-nm process, drawing the same or even less power (depending on the operating system) than its Bloomfield predecessors with merely four cores. The thermal design power (TDP) of all planned models is stated to be 130 watts.
